Another weekend....more work achieved!

Had the full Rendell sibling gang here today and even got the little people helping with the wallpaper stripping in the Dining Room.

Doors dipped & stripped........

We had some of the doors dipped and stripped and they came back today and look amazing!

The lounge fireplace was also ripped out yesterday (professionally) by Britains Heritage of Leicester for it to be restored.

Sean (Brother in Law) & Paul worked on the lounge, stripping the paint from the picture rail and sanding the skirting boards.

Paul the Plumber (Cliff's brother) and Cliff worked on the central heating system, removing the heating system from downstairs and connecting the boiler to the upstairs.  We now have proper warmth!

Thanks guys for your help today, we go loads done!!!!

Work continues into the new year....

Paul discovered some Sheringham Ventilators today in the Lounge which were covered over with several layers of wallpaper.  They brushed up well and make a lovely feature, possibly an opportunity to create some mood lighting.
